Decide on a Real Estate Agent The most important attribute of an agent depends upon your needs. Decide what you want from your agent before you start the interview process.
Are you looking to do a friend in the business a favor or are you looking for the best person for the job? Do you want someone who will hold your hand throughout the entire process, or, are you a hands off person who just wants results? Dave and Tammy can do both. Are you looking for a lone wolf agent at a small brokerage or an agent with a lot of support from a national company? Dave and Tammy have the support, experience, and financial strength.
Picking an agent is hard. When interviewing, everyone puts on a dog and pony show, charts, graphs, shiny pictures and brochures, everyone looks really good on paper. How can you tell companies and agents apart? Listen to what they say and try to find out what kind of person they are. Your real estate agent is representing you in a huge investment, possiably the largest single investment you have, look them in the eye, probe them, are they real people or are they robots programmed to say the same thing to everyone? Do you believe in them?
